The qualifiers are over. The team has been chosen. Now we are hard at work preparing and practicing so that we can take the face of Columbus, Ohio poetry in performance into the National arena. We will depart August 9 for Albuquerque, New Mexico to compete in the 2005 National Poetry Slam against 74 other teams as well as dozens of individually competing poets from the United States and Canada (and some who come from as far away as France).

Participation in this year's NPS will cost each team member $1000 or more. We realize many Columbus and Central Ohio poetry enthusiasts cannot make it to every event, or sometimes attend events unprepared for fundraising activities. This year, we've made it easy for you to help out: Now you can donate online using PayPal.
